CIRCE to present at the 5th Smart Grids congress on the R&D lines of the IdEAS project
CIRCE will participate in the fifth edition of the Smart Grids Congress, where it will present the R&D lines of IdEAS, a project aimed at reducing the technological disparity in new smart electrical substations.
Jesús Torres, Director of the ICT Integration area, will present the talk 'IdEAS Project': IEC61850 Interoperability in Distribution Operator Services. Standardization Methodology and Pilot in a Real Substation.’
This project, led by Endesa with CIRCE’s participation, seeks to facilitate the standardized maintenance of technological solutions to achieve greater operational efficiency in smart electrical substations.
The Smart Grids Congress, which will take place in Madrid on December 13th, is a multidisciplinary event that brings together the most important players in the sector, making it a forum for discussion and presentation on the current state and future development of smart grids.
Through presentations and round tables, various topics will be addressed, ranging from automation, control, operation, and asset management in transmission and distribution grids to the design and evolution of the electricity market within the framework of the Climate Change and Energy Transition Law. Other areas such as flexibility mechanisms and models (demand aggregation, distributed generation, storage, and grid interconnection), the active user in Smart Grids (electric vehicles, self-consumption, Smart buildings…), and digitalization (data management and analytics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and blockchain…) will also be discussed.
