Description of the service

Our experience in the field of renewable energies and demand-side management allows us to offer a comprehensive set of services for the development of energy communities.

At CIRCE-Technological Centre we provide a complete approach to both the creation and management of these collaborative and sustainable energy systems.

We help communities to identify the existing generation potential, both electrical and thermal (heat networks), analysing the viability of the investment and advising on its formation. We can also provide support by analysing the generation-demand balance to see how many and what type of users to integrate, the most appropriate governance model or establish the ideal hourly distribution criteria for profitable and fair participation.

We propose mechanisms such as the integration of energy storage solutions, the adaptation of demand to renewable availability or the smart charging of batteries and electric vehicles to promote the maximum possible use of the energy generated.

For smart community management: Communit-e

For the operation and management phase of the community, at CIRCE-Technological Centre we have developed the Communit-e platform, an energy communities software designed with energy community managers in mind to facilitate the control and optimisation of the operation and to allow the visualisation of data by the members.

The platform integrates all the information on generation, user demand and distribution, which it receives without the need for additional hardware costs. With all this, the energy impact of the community can be consulted in a simple and visual way. This information is available to the manager, who in turn can create users with restricted permissions so that each member of the community can consult their own data and reports, favouring transparency and the participation of consumers to adjust their demand to the available generation.
