Description of the service

Do you want to ensure that the switch from fossil to renewable fuels in your plant is effective and adapted to your needs? By using our flexible furnace and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, at CIRCE-Technological Center, we help you find the optimal combustion strategy and predict the resulting emissions. We offer you the possibility to study the influence of fuel switching on your materials, thus ensuring a smooth and efficient transition to a cleaner and more sustainable industry.

In our industrial laboratory we have a flexible furnace capable of testing different fuels and mixtures, including hydrogen, to simulate the specific conditions of your processes. We perform a complete combustion characterization, evaluating heat transfer and temperature distribution. 

Our goal is to facilitate the transition from fossil fuels to renewable gases in industrial furnaces. We use CFD models to define the most suitable operating conditions. The furnace is equipped with quartz windows for flame monitoring using Machine Vision techniques and we apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms to predict emissions. In addition, we offer the possibility of introducing refractory materials and final products into the chamber to study their behavior with fuel change.
