Description and objectives

The main objective of SYNERGIES is to present a reference implementation of the Energy Data Space that will seek to unlock data-driven innovation and sharing potential across the energy data value chain by leveraging data and intelligence coming from diverse energy stakeholders (prioritizing consumers, but also introducing stakeholders from across the value chain as data owners and/or providers), facilitating the transition from current siloed data management approaches to collaborative approaches that promote the creation of a data and intelligence ecosystem around energy.

Value proposition

  • Advanced Forecasting Algorithms: We develop advanced forecasting algorithms to anticipate generation and demand, considering the possible entry of flexibility markets. This allows for efficient management both implicitly and explicitly.
  • Smart Grid Growth: We implement specialized algorithms for smart grid growth, ensuring efficient and sustainable expansion according to changing needs.
  • Flexibility Optimization: We enhance and extend flexibility algorithms to predict which assets need to be included in the network, ensuring that the installation is secure and risk-free.
  • Regulatory Compliance: We ensure that all developments are in full compliance with current regulations, guaranteeing the security and legality of the implementations.
  • Business Models and Efficient Deployment: We develop efficient business models and deployment strategies that maximize the profitability and sustainability of energy network investments.
  • Data Identification and Collection: We identify and collect essential data through the creation and management of repositories, ensuring the availability of accurate and up-to-date information to feed our algorithms and models.
