Description and objectives
NEUTRALPATH seeks to demonstrate the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of Positive Clean Energy Districts (PCEDs) to accelerate urban transformation towards climate neutrality. Dresden and Zaragoza act as Lighthouse Cities, demonstrating PCEDs, and establish Climate Neutral LABs as Innovation Centers.
Three partner cities (Istanbul, Ghent and Vantaa) will participate and lead the implementation of PCEDs. NEUTRALPATH, with a consortium of 30 participants from 7 countries, will collaborate with the Cities Mission Platform and other EU initiatives, providing significant contributions to achieving EU climate targets.
Value proposition
- Co-Creation Methodology and Tools: Establish the methodology, indicators and tools for the co-creation of urban mobility interventions. We create the basis for subsequent WPs, ensuring a comprehensive and participatory approach in the design of solutions.
- Development of Technological Tools for Co-Creation: Development of technological tools for project co-creation. We facilitate co-design and co-evaluation through innovative technological solutions, ensuring efficiency and active participation of stakeholders.
- Analytical and Predictive Models with Machine-learning: CIRCE participates in WP4, leading T4.3, focused on mMurbana.
- Social Impact Assessment: Evaluation of the benefits of interventions with a focus on social impacts such as inclusion and accessibility. We designed and implemented an innovative Social Life Cycle Assessment (S-LCA) methodology for a comprehensive and accurate evaluation of interventions.
