Description and objectives

DigInTraCE aims to develop:

A transparent and interoperable decentralized traceability platform through the use of novel tracking, sensing and sorting techniques
Dynamically updated data processing schemes to support quality certification and validation
Artificial intelligence-based decision-making mechanisms for process and life-cycle optimization
Recycling, reuse and upgrading technologies for better use of secondary materials
Contribute to standardization, open data and easy access
Business models that generate new economic opportunities and learning resources for employees, promoting new digital skills and meeting regional social needs

Value proposition

Solutions are demonstrated in the sectors of:

Pulp and Paper focused on 2 cases: composite wood and furniture; and wood and Pulp and Paper
Chemicals focused on 2 cases: plastic parts of ICT equipment and automotive market; and polymers and textiles: in 4 countries, while the composite wood case combines both main sectors
