Description and objectives
Moving towards a greener economy implies the need for new skills and competencies, which requires the development of strong partnerships to adapt current training and qualification frameworks. Based on the Quintuple Helix approach, this project aims to define and develop a training and accreditation scheme on "green" skills. This scheme will address the professional, market and customer barriers that stand in the way of consolidating Energy Efficiency (EE), Renewable Energy Systems (RES) and near-Zero Energy Buildings (nZEB). It will be based on classroom and online training, transversely incorporating BIM and LEAN methodology. Specifically, the project:
- Improve the skills of construction industry workers in EE, RES and nZEB.
- Promote cooperation and understanding between different professions and professional groups.
- Will develop a new sectoral competency standard in EE, RES and nZEB following the EQF methodology (learning outcomes approach) as well as ECVET and EQUAVET quality criteria.
- Develop a new "Energy Audit" qualification.
- It will promote the specialization of SMEs in sustainable construction and their leadership in the market.
- Certify skills through the creation of the "Green Label" accreditation to promote interaction and collaboration between stakeholders.
- Promote innovation and improvement of work processes with respect to relations with clients, workers and SMEs.
