Description and objectives
CHRONICLE provides a holistic framework for assessing the life cycle performance of buildings, with tools that support sustainable design, efficient construction and investment decision making. It integrates initiatives such as EPC, Level(s), SRI under the Digital Building Log concept.
Evaluates performance with defined KPIs based on static and dynamic information adapted to different types of use and life cycle phases. Promotes evidence-based impact assessment practices to support consistent policies, smart penalties and reward systems to encourage energy awareness. It caters to the voices of market stakeholders and building owners. The framework and tools will be validated in pilot sites in Spain, Ireland, Denmark, Greece and Switzerland.
Value proposition
The project introduces a twin digital occupancy framework for modeling human comfort and well-being, enabling robust calculation of building performance. CHRONICLE enhances the user experience with interfaces designed for tenants, ESCOs and FMs, translating complex information into personalized and timely data. It provides comprehensive information through advanced AI and ML analytics in the digital twin.
