Description of the service
This laboratory provides an environment for researching cybersecurity solutions focused on protecting critical systems, equipped with both IT (Information Technology) systems and electronic equipment for testing and development.
The CIRCE Cybersecurity Laboratory is an innovative and continuously evolving research space aiming to cover all current aspects of cybersecurity in Industry 4.0, particularly in electrical networks.
The laboratory is equipped with specific hardware for applying cybersecurity techniques (pentesting, vulnerability analysis, identification, etc.) in controlled contexts. This hardware includes:
- A DELL R740 server for running virtualized environments.
- Synology NAS for storing analyses, results, and images.
- SIEMENS industrial switch.
- Three-phase analyzer.
- PFC200 controller to emulate components of the electrical power system.
Additionally, the lab is equipped for the study of wireless systems, IoT sensors, and industrial embedded systems. These elements include:
- Dedicated 4x4 WiFi 6 access point.
- RF and Bluetooth sniffers.
- Proprietary embedded systems (Energybox).
Finally, the laboratory has a server equipped with an NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 GPU for applying advanced analysis and machine learning techniques in cybersecurity environments, such as developing intrusion detection systems.
